  3. Thanks Ben and Barretta,
it means alot! The piece tells the whole seven book journey in the form of a double helix. The tower in the books is all realities and all universe stacked on top of each in metaphoric actual object(I don't know either)...
The main character has to make it to the tower to keeping all realities from crumbling. The double helix represents life that roland is saving. Not to spoil the whole thing, this piece clues how it ends.

  6. Thanks again, man! I feel good about saying it's finished and passing it on to the doctor. He said he has a new idea for a painting or paintings?! Yipes...but super complimentary. I wouldn't deal with me after 4 years. N2 I thought you might dig an even more in depth cliff's notes version. The rose is used throughout the books and is rep'ed in All the paintings as a symbol for the tower, a fragile wilting object. Starting bottom left, the1st book mainly takes place in a desert referencing a blazing sun. Bottom right shows doors that other characters come out of on a mystical
beach(each nebula represents a book) the mid left is a train and a city that blows up, mid right is main characters pregnant girlfriend being burned at the staked, top right is light sabered caped wolves and robot, top left is villians spider baby birthed by demonic rape, and the top is what is revealed behind the door at the top of the dark tower a couple thousand pages into the books.
I wanted it all to be more painterly than sci-fi
    IV_thanks for looking

  10. Thanks Dee, tweez, and bag lady. Next I guess, I'll check with a lady I was asked to do another War and Peace'r. Two crossed swords with a revolver underneath! Then, We'll see what the next project the doctor was hinting at, we're to talk about it when he picks up DT7. After that I really want to get into the coalminer/farmer/railroad/soldier/livestock limited palette series. For what I don't know, I'm not into shows right now. We'll see if it ever happens, but I hope it does. It already feels like the most powerful and natural work for my interests.
